愛人に逢うために大型バイクで旅をするレベッカ（マリアンヌ・フェイスフル）の物語。オートバイで移動する彼女の心理描写や回想、欲望や生き方が描かれているが、哲学的で官能的要素が強く、主人公の意識の流れや幻想的演出が重視されているところが実に面白い。そして青臭さ丸出しの「旅を通した自分探し」的人間を嘲笑うかのような圧巻のOh La La的トラウマ級ラストシーン・・・

The film follows Rebecca (Marianne Faithfull) as she rides a motorcycle to meet her lover. Along the journey, we see her thoughts, memories, desires, and way of life unfold. The film is deeply philosophical and sensual, focusing on her stream of consciousness and dreamlike visuals. And then, there’s that unforgettable Oh La La ending―almost mocking the idea of “finding oneself through travel.”
