本日より「Teru Noji in the PORTER Gallery 1」を開催します。テル・ノヂはグラフィックデザイナー、現代美術家、人形アニメーターとして活動するアーティストです。
ファッションデザインを学んだのち、海外での生活経験を背景に制作を続け、現在はフランスを拠点に活動しています。
挑発的な作風、ブラックユーモア、シュルレアリスム、エロティシズムを特徴とし、独自の世界観を構築しています。
「TERU NOJI’S SOUL CIRCUS」
“The Art of the Living Toy(生きる玩具の芸術)”をテーマにした本展示では、タトゥーを施したドール作品をはじめ、アンティーク陶材フィギュアやアンティークの電話の呼び鈴をもとにした立体作品など、複数のシリーズを展示、販売いたします。
玩具を「魂の入れ物」として捉えるテル・ノヂが、壊れた”命なきものたち”に再び魂を吹き込む、奇妙で華やかな祝祭です。

We are pleased to present “Teru Noji in the PORTER Gallery 1.
Teru Noji is an artist working as a graphic designer, contemporary artist, and doll animator.
After studying fashion design, he continued his creative practice influenced by his experiences living abroad and is currently based in France. His work is characterized by a provocative style, black humor, surrealism, and eroticism, through which he constructs a distinctive and original worldview.
TERU NOJI’S SOUL CIRCUS
Centered on the theme “The Art of the Living Toy,” this exhibition will present and offer for sale multiple series of works, including tattooed doll pieces, antique porcelain figures, and sculptural works inspired by antique telephone bells.
Viewing toys as “vessels for the soul,” Teru Noji breathes new life into broken, once lifeless objects, creating a strange yet dazzling celebration.
