I used the same lace lingerie stash from the previous helmet, this time I did with metallic blue. Hard to see from the photos, but the blending with blue glitter on the base is WOW, especially after several coatings of clear enamel. I did want the urethan finish, but the spray was dead. Never mind.
The rubber rim was really nasty, I ripped it off and replaced with chrome rims. Bending corners was such an issue, I’m still not satisfied, but never mind.
Overall, it was so fun to paint, and what am I missing now? The joy and freedom to ride my bike. Oh yes I do mind Corona, you’re such a bitch.
