4th of July, 1976

4th of July, 1976, me and my mom, the bicentennial anniversary at Fort Lee, NJ. This was right before the fireworks. I still remember this day, just arrived from Japan, still on jet leg and my mind was somewhere else, mom told me to wear this Japanese yukata kimono. I had no idea until I arrived the venue, and of course I was the only one wearing this strange outfit, I felt so embarrased.
But the real embarrasing story is that I never really knew what Independence Day was about until now.
