... I was 12 or something the first time I saw him on TV in the beginning of 80s. I felt so disturbed by his sexual attitude, his voice, his outfit, his weird guitar, everything, particularly his chest hair. I felt so awkward watching his music video in front of my parents. Farah Fawcett & Prince was something I had to hide from my parents and I was stashing their stuffs under my bed, inside my secret Lego box.
Also his creation such as Sheila E, Vanity, Apollonia 6, even Bangles, it was just too much for a 12 year old kid that I always had to run to the bathroom or my own room and 'finish' myself. Piles of used tissue papers under the bed those days, yeah I was a monkey. Still am.
