Life is beautiful

This was supposed to be a music CD jacket design for a psy-trance label in Goa. Was almost done, but was rejected. I guess I gotta find somebody else who's interested in buying this drawing.
Acid trip inspired, plus a little bit of DMT influence. The drawing concept was 'not dark, but psychedelic'. Because my art is almost always facing the 'dark' side, I tried to be 'pop' as possible, but not 'fluffy'. Also I tried the minimum usage of the typical 'psy' images such as fractals, mandalas, Indian gods. My challenge and idea was to create a psychedelic atmosphere without those stereo-type images. Although I end up using a straight, direct motif; acids.
Took me quite long time to get it till this stage. Also it brang me a sweet & bitter memory...
The girl from Ibiza. Having a woman in my heart, I put all my energy inside to finish this artwork. Also some hints from her, the drawing became just perfect. Sadly, my romance end up in an unfortunate way. Plus, I couldn't satisfy my client.
After all, "Love" could be the strongest drug, nothing to compare to psychedelics, alchohols, or narcotics, whatever. I was completely love drugged, and while I was "drugged", my life was up-side-down. I lost control. Love hurts. And if you are not ready for the pain, you won't get love.

There's always a story, dramas on the backstage until one artwork is done. While continuous drawing, you reach to some sort of level, and those "dramas" starts to show on the drawings, thats when the magik(not magic) happens. Each characters on my drawings starts breathing. An initiation to give 'Life' to the characters.
